Kodak delivers 300th Flexcel NX System in five years
OEC Graphics has installed a Flexcel NX Wide System, the 300th Kodak has delivered from the series in five years.

The US full-service flexographic pre-press provider services a wide variety of markets and will position its Flexcel NX platemaking system as an option for all its clients to increase print quality, reduce press downtime and ink consumption, and increase press speeds. OEC Graphics will also use the technology to develop differentiated offerings for both its brand and printer clients.
The Flexcel NX System was launched at Drupa 2008.
Jeff Schloesser, president of OEC Graphics, said: ‘The Flexcel NX System has been on our radar for a very long time.
‘The performance of the system across the industry has been impressive and ultimately it was an easy decision for OEC to invest in this next level of superior plate production. Kodak’s full portfolio and recent transformation into a technology company with a strong focus on our industry makes it an excellent strategic partner for OEC Graphics.’
