BW Papersystems to launch SpeedLiner X at Labelexpo Europe

RFID converting machine delivers 25 percent higher annual output.

BW Papersystems has launched the SpeedLiner X, a radio frequency identification converting machine that delivers up to 25 percent higher annual output compared to conventional systems.

The machine supports up to four tracks for simultaneous production, enabling converters to dramatically increase output while offering enhanced scalability, efficiency, ease of use and precision. It can process four by 1,500 inlays per minute with multiple attaching units, delivering exceptional speed with automated inlay reel changes and automated doctoring to reduce downtime.

'With the RFID market expanding at over 30 percent annually, converters worldwide are under pressure to increase throughput, improve reliability and scale efficiently,' explained Felix Waniek, strategic product manager at BW Papersystems. 'The SpeedLiner X is a game changer. With up to four tracks, it delivers unmatched throughput, allowing you to produce more - faster.'

The machine features smart automation including auto get-ready, auto sync and auto register functions, combined with an intuitive human-machine interface and advanced assistance systems that enable operators to set up and control the machine with minimal training. Quick changeovers and straightforward maintenance ensure smooth and productive operations.

'Built for high performance, the SpeedLiner X brings together speed, scalability and flexibility like never before,' stated Bernard Niemöller, sales executive at BW Papersystems. 'With smart features like auto get-ready, auto sync and auto register, it practically runs itself - saving you time and hassle.'

The modular design allows configuration to meet current and future production needs, with the ability to add multitrack capabilities or additional attachers as requirements change. Its upgrade-friendly design enables the machine to grow with businesses, delivering long-term value.

'Flexibility is key with the SpeedLiner X,' noted Govert Beurskens, sales executive at BW Papersystems. 'Its modular design allows you to configure the machine to meet your production needs, now and in the future. Need multitrack capabilities or additional attachers? The SpeedLiner X scales effortlessly.'

BW Papersystems reinforces its commitment to customer success with a robust global service network, ensuring long-term reliability. The machine's integrated RFID technology ensures every inlay is applied with pinpoint precision, reducing waste and maximizing yields.

Thomas Arlit, managing director Germany at BW Papersystems, positioned the launch as part of the company's broader innovation strategy. 'With the SpeedLiner X, we are bringing that same spirit of innovation into RFID converting,' he commented. 'This machine combines our experience with cutting-edge technology to deliver a sustainable option with higher output, a smaller footprint and lower carbon dioxide emissions.'
