Schreiner Group has marked the tenth anniversary of its Chinese production site, with CEO Roland Schreiner and Thomas Köberlein, president of the Schreiner ProTech business unit, visiting the facility in the Greater Shanghai Metropolitan Area to reaffirm its strategic importance.
The plant, originally established in Fengpu, relocated to Jinshan at the end of 2022 to facilities twice the size of the original site, following sustained growth in customers, employees and machinery over the decade. It supplies international and local customers in the automotive, general industry and pharmaceutical markets.
'What has been created here in the past ten years impressively shows how successful our internationalization strategy is being implemented,' said Roland Schreiner at an internal anniversary celebration with the more than 30 employees at the site.
Alongside the internal celebration, Schreiner and Köberlein held conversations with customers and visited the Jinshan industrial park with local government representatives. 'Relations with the local administration that are built on trust create the basis for stability and further growth,' said Köberlein. 'Jinshan will remain a central pillar of our international strategy, supported by entrepreneurial continuity, technological expertise and close dialog with customers and partners.'
'Our presence in Shanghai makes it possible for us to be very close to our customers, to precisely understand their requirements and to implement them into suitable solutions,' said Jamie Long, general manager of Schreiner Group Shanghai.
