Mark Andy appoints Mach Global as distributor in France

US-based press manufacturer Mark Andy has appointed Mach Global as its exclusive distributor in France, effective April 1, 2026.

Mach Global, founded in 2025 by Stéphane Rateau, marks a strategic move by Mark Andy to strengthen its position in the French labels and narrow-web market. Rateau, formerly owner and managing director of SMAG, brings extensive experience in flexographic and label printing technologies.

Tom Cavalco, executive vice president at Mark Andy, said the partnership reflects the company's commitment to expanding its footprint in key European markets. ‘We are delighted to welcome Mach Global to the Mark Andy family and look forward to working closely with Stéphane to build our profile in France and increase our market share across both flexo and digital hybrid segments,' he said.

Mark Andy already has an established installed base in France, particularly in flexographic press technology. The appointment of Mach Global is expected to build on this foundation, leveraging the company's full portfolio of narrow- and mid-web presses.

Rateau said: ‘The opportunity to represent Mark Andy comes only once in a lifetime and I could not be more excited about the prospect.

‘The company is a true manufacturer, not just an assembler, with a wealth of industrial knowledge that is backed up by its global footprint.  No other press manufacturer in this sector can match its technical capability and product range.’

Currently headquartered in Paris, Mach Global plans to relocate to a purpose-built facility in the Occitanie region. As part of its growth strategy, the company will also utilize Mark Andy's demonstration and technical center in Warsaw to support customer engagement and application development.

With this appointment, Mark Andy aims to accelerate growth in the French market, strengthening support for converters and expanding adoption of its flexo and hybrid press technologies.
