AVT opens Americas headquarters in Atlanta

Print inspection specialist centralizes operations and demo center for North and Latin America.

AVT has opened a new regional headquarters and demonstration center in Atlanta, Georgia, serving as a centralized hub for operations across North and Latin America and consolidating inventory previously held across the US, Mexico and Brazil.

The facility houses a demo and training suite featuring AVT's Argus and Helios in-line print inspection systems and SpectraLab color accuracy technologies, enabling live demonstrations, application testing, customer training and virtual webinars. The Atlanta location was selected for its proximity to flexible packaging manufacturers and key customers, as well as access to international air connections for rapid travel across the Americas.

The consolidated inventory model allows AVT to dispatch parts immediately when customers experience downtime, reducing delays across the region. Service management for all Americas field engineers is now coordinated through the single Atlanta hub, with support coverage extended across all US time zones.

'Returning to Atlanta represents a return to our roots,' said Juan Da Silva, president of AVT Americas. 'More importantly, it allows us to better serve our customers with faster response, improved communication and a more hands-on approach to support.'

'We have moved from a fragmented structure to a single, unified team, all dedicated to solving the customer's problem quickly,' added Da Silva. 'Customers are noticing the difference, not just in how quickly we respond, but in how we communicate and support their business.'
