Barry-Wehmiller opens office in Moscow

The packaging machinery arm of Barry-Wehmiller established Moscow-based sales, parts and field service teams to further expand its presence on the Russian market.

The new team of eight will focus solely on the local market. It includes customer service support and field service technicians, along with spare parts and aftermarket inventory. 
 
BW Packaging Systems represents several Barry-Wehmiller companies currently operating in Russia, including BW Flexible Systems, Pneumatic Scale Angelus and Synerlink, all of which are now supported by the new team.

The newly created team is also expected to showcase the BW Flexible Systems Schib CO50 inverted horizontal flow-wrapper at Agroprodmash, held in Moscow later this year. Recently the company launched a website, dedicated to the local customers, providing information about newly established office.
