Scitus supplies technologies and systems that help printers reduce waste and make optimum use of manufacturing assets. Its expertise covers print, coating and specialty conversion in flexo, gravure, and offset narrow and wide web applications.

Karl Fritchen, president of QuadTech, commented: ‘The threat posed by counterfeit goods has fuelled demand for sophisticated methods of brand authentication, especially in markets like pharmaceuticals, healthcare, wines and luxury goods. Packaging and label converters are increasingly expected to incorporate features such as holograms, conductive inks, optically variable images and covert effects visible under UV light, into their designs. QuadTech’s closed-loop press control technology, including 100 percent inspection, register control and color measurement throughout the run, provides reassurance in situations like these, where precision print results are essential. Richard’s expertise in security and packaging strengthens our ability to offer tailored, performance-boosting solutions to these growing sectors.’

Richard Warnick, director of Scitus Print Solutions, added: ‘Responsiveness, minimizing time to market, eradicating waste, and reducing set up times are the keys to maintaining the edge in an increasingly competitive global market. QuadTech not only offers excellent technology, but industry-leading technical support and a commitment to providing custom-tuned solutions that empower the printer to get the artwork through the workflow quickly and precisely at the first attempt.’
