Vetaphone extends warranty to five years
Corona treatment specialist offers extended cover on generators, transformers and sensors.
Vetaphone has launched an extended warranty scheme allowing customers to opt for three or five year cover on its corona and plasma surface treatment systems, up from the standard two-year period, with the scheme applying worldwide across all unit sizes from 1 kW to 40 kW.
The extended warranty, launched in May 2026, covers defects in materials and workmanship on critical components, including the generator, transformer, sensors, switches and machine frame, with free component replacement if onsite assistance is not required. Cover is priced on a sliding scale based on unit power output.
'In today's increasingly competitive production environments, it is important to take all steps possible to ensure reliability and consistent performance,' said Anders Dueholm, support and spare parts manager at Vetaphone. 'The extended warranty is intended to reduce some of the unpredictable elements of everyday production and help limit downtime and material waste.'
Vetaphone said one of its leading OEM customers has already taken up the scheme as part of its own service agreement. The Danish company, which has 75 years of experience in surface treatment, describes the move as the first of its kind in the corona treatment market.
