Li Wen, who has been business director and GM responsible for Graphics North APAC since joining Avery Dennison in January 2019, has been appointed senior director and general manager for graphics in Label and Graphic Materials EMENA.
Wen, who relocated in August from Shanghai, China to Oegstgeest, Netherlands, will be reporting to Hassan Rmaile, VP and GM for Label and Graphic Materials EMENA.
‘This appointment reflects both Li’s resilient leadership while managing the Covid crisis, his extensive industry experience and passion for disruptive thinking and execution of strategic, innovative solutions, commented Rmaile. ‘Our focus on profitable growth will be an essential part of Li’s new role. Our continued laser focus on innovation and new business models in high value and high-performance graphics solutions means that we are very well placed to support our stakeholders across the whole value chain.’
Wen sees excellent potential in the category as demand recovery from the pandemic continues.
‘We have shown what can be done with innovative products in graphics, most notably in the automotive aftermarket, as confirmed by many recent key account wins. I have high confidence that we will gain further momentum, given the quality of our portfolio, our strong channel network, and our strong EMENA installers network,’ concluded Wen.
