Robert King joins Actega

Actega has appointed flexographic industry expert Robbie King, Jr., strategic account manager for the Flexible Packaging Business Line in North America

Actega has appointed flexographic industry expert Robbie King, Jr., strategic account manager for the Flexible Packaging Business Line in North America.

This newly created role demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to the flexible packaging and labels industry, as well as its drive to expand its market share in the region.

Jim Harris, director of sales for flexible packaging in North America at Actega, said: ‘It was clear that with Actega’s continuous product innovation and vision to enhance its position in this sector, we required someone in a dedicated, leadership role to support the team and our ever-increasing customer base. King’s over 40 years of industry experience, extensive product knowledge, and strong technical background in flexographic printing operations make him the ideal candidate for this new position. Actega is pleased to add another industry expert to our team and looks forward to growing this part of our business with King as part of our team.’

King will begin his new role on October 18, 2021. His market and technical knowledge have been acquired during his extensive career, comprising management roles with leading manufacturers of flexographic technology, such as Nilpeter USA and Harper Corporation of America.
