UPM Raflatac makes appointment to grow presence in South Asia

Praveen Gupta named as general manager and business development director in South Asia for UPM Raflatac

UPM Raflatac has appointed Praveen Gupta as its new general manager and business development director in South Asia.

Praveen has been leading UPM Raflatac’s paper business in India, and has more than a decade of project management and business development experience in the country. He has also been instrumental in driving the growth and success of India Recypa.

India Recypa is a joint venture company between UPM Raflatac and Anika International, and was formed to be the first and the biggest professionally managed waste paper trading business in India.

 ‘The self-adhesive label market in India and across South Asia continues to offer a very promising future,’ Praveen said. ‘I look forward to developing UPM Raflatac’s labelstock business further and strengthening our relationships with domestic brands and label printers by delivering reliable high quality products and services.’
