Xeikon to present 'What's Next' at latest Café events
Xeikon is staging a number of events in October as part of its Xeikon Café initiative to present latest technology developments to the European label and package printing market.

Catching up with the news and innovations demonstrated at Labelexpo Americas, the focus of Xeikon Café on October 5 will be ‘Labelexpo revisited’. A conference program in the morning will touch on recent developments in the industry. In the afternoon, a range of workshops and demonstrations will provide better understanding of specific topics including color reproduction, digital converting, digital printing and new business tools.
Xeikon press technology will also be demonstrated from the Xeikon CX3 digital label press and the Xeikon 3500 – the company’s widest digital label press - to the compact Xeikon 3030 with inline laser die-cutting. Converting equipment and color services will be presented too.
On October 6, the focus changes to digital print and conversion of folding cartons, including case studies and workshops on color reproduction, digital converting, digital printing and new business management tools.
Live demonstrations will take place on the Xeikon 3500 with in-line water-based spot varnish and the Xeikon FDU flatbed die-cutter.
Filip Weymans, Xeikon vice president global marketing said, ‘Xeikon Café’s aim is simple but effective. It is to provide an informal knowledge exchange platform in the field of digital production. These events will enable our customers to have a clearer view of the print production landscape and how they can support their continued success.’
