Schreiner wins two Finat Label Awards

Schreiner Group has received two awards at the Finat Label Competition 2026, with a transparent pharmaceutical authentication seal from Schreiner MediPharm winning the overall group award in the Innovation category and an RFID hybrid vehicle identification label from Schreiner PrinTrust recognized in the Marketing and End-uses Security category.

The Schreiner MediPharm seal integrates both overt and covert security features, with a smartphone-readable covert authentication structure that is destroyed by tampering attempts, enabling early detection of counterfeits. The technology combines digital and analog first-opening indication, digital verification and sustainable material use to address counterfeiting and traceability requirements in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

The Schreiner PrinTrust 3rd License Plate RFID Hybrid label combines optical security features with UHF and NFC technology for visual and automatic digital vehicle identification across different distances. Its tamper-proof integration qualifies the label for use as an official third license plate.

'The awards went to solutions from different business units, showing not only the technological breadth of our portfolio but also our strength in different markets and industries,' said Roland Schreiner, CEO of Schreiner Group.

The awards were presented at the European Label Forum in Seville.
