Trivium wins WorldStar award
Budweiser's NFL aluminum bottle earns top honors in labeling and decoration.
Trivium Packaging has won a WorldStar Global Packaging Award 2026 in the Labeling and Decoration category for its Budweiser NFL Aluminum Bottle, created to mark the first NFL game held in São Paulo, Brazil.
The 330ml collectible bottle, developed for Budweiser Brazil to commemorate the brand's sponsorship of the Philadelphia Eagles versus Green Bay Packers game, features multi-color, high-resolution decoration with varnish and enamel finishes produced using advanced aluminum manufacturing and printing technologies.
Engineered for individual consumption, the bottle's optimized neck height and shape improve grip and handling while helping reduce waste. It is made from an advanced aluminum alloy that weighs up to 80 percent less than glass, lowering material use and carbon emissions. Manufactured in a facility powered by zero-emissions electricity and certified to ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 standards, the bottle is fully recyclable, supporting circularity.
The WorldStar Awards are judged by an international panel of packaging experts representing World Packaging Organization (WPO) member countries.
'This edition reflects the growing strategic importance of the WorldStar Awards, not only as a recognition platform, but as a catalyst for meaningful transformation in the packaging industry,' added Luciana Pellegrino, president of WPO.
