Inland receives MillerCoors' procurement innovator of the year award
Inland has been awarded by MillerCoors as their procurement innovator of the year. Winners were announced at MillerCoors corporate headquarters in Chicago.

On May 15, MillerCoors Procurement held its seventh annual Supplier Recognition Awards event. The purpose of the event is to recognize the excellence of MillerCoors’ most appreciated suppliers. Inland was one of 11 different suppliers that were honored for exemplary performance in key strategic categories. Inland was honored for exceeding the expectations set by procurement and packaging innovation at MillerCoors and for scoring 100 percent on every measurable innovation category.
‘Inland won because of their engagement with all MillerCoors innovation stakeholders and passion for being an industry leader in the latest label technology,’ said Jack Davis, supply manager – corrugate and labels for MillerCoors.
Tricia Sime, Inland’s packaging innovation director who was on hand to accept the award said, ‘We are proud to receive this recognition for our innovative and collaborative practices. We believe this award is powerful evidence of the innovative spirit and culture throughout Inland.’
This is the fifth Supplier of the Year award Inland has received from MillerCoors since Miller Brewing Company and Coors merged in 2008. Prior to that, Inland won five supplier awards from Miller Brewing Company and 5 from Coors Brewing Company individually.
