For the third time the international jury of the World Label Association has honored leading European converter Marzek with a best in class printing award.
The World Label Award competition compares the winning labels from six regional label associations covering five continents: USA (TLMI), Japan (JFLP), Europe (FINAT), Australia (LATMA ), New Zealand (SALMA) and India (LMAI). To participate, the converter must first win a prize at the local label association level – FINAT in the case of Marzek.
The winning label (pictured) was Gmeiner-Patritus, produced for the Norbert Gmeiner winery in Donnerskirchen, Austria. The label uses a combination of UV offset printing, UV printing relief on a textured substrate along with high quality finishing and fine hot foil stamping.
The project was conceived, designed and executed by the Marzek team. ‘The specialty of this label is the elegant design using a structured substrate with fine matt gold hot-foil stamping and relief printing,’ remarked Dr Johannes Michael Wareka, managing director of Marzek Labels & Packaging.
‘These perfectly produced labels underline the outstanding characteristics of the wine: the quality, the long tradition, the sophistication and the high value.’
