Brotech Digital Graphics has confirmed it will launch the FF-X530, an AI-powered 8-color flexographic press, which will make its world debut at Labelexpo Europe 2025.

The company will demonstrate the FF-X530 alongside five other systems at booth 5D67 from September 16-19, showcasing finishing and converting technologies for label and packaging applications.

Unlike traditional flexo presses that rely on operator expertise, the FF-X530 applies artificial intelligence and an advanced color and quality control system to transform print production. The system continuously monitors ink viscosity, temperature, substrate variations and environmental conditions, making real-time adjustments to deliver color consistency while reducing setup time and minimizing material waste and downtime.

'The FF-X530 sets a new benchmark for high-quality flexographic printing with integrated AVT and X-Rite technologies,' said the company.

Other equipment on display includes the IDM800 digital embellishment system delivering special effects such as white, metallic and varnish applications with support for variable data printing, including barcodes, 2D codes and braille.

Also on show will be the SDF PLUS 370 smart modular digital label finishing platform, which offers flexibility with a patented intermittent flexo unit featuring quick changeover to rotary mode. Available in 330/370/420/520 sizes, it supports bidirectional workflow and can be configured with lamination, cold foil, hot foil stamping and various die-cutting options.

Brotech will also showcase the SpedMaster semi-rotary flexo and die-cutting system running at 110m/min in semi-rotary mode and up to 150m/min in full rotary, equipped with the company's proprietary Digital Pressure Control system.

The SDD330, a compact digital die-cutting system, and the FS420 label inspection, slitting, and rewinding system, complete the display, targeting short-run production and high-precision finishing applications.
