Fagra invests in two Hontec flexo machines

Argentina-based Fagra has installed two Hontec FlexiCon 350, 8-color flexo presses, along with a highly versatile MPX350 modular finishing machine, forming a complete, integrated setup for high-quality label production.

With this installation, the converter enhances its capability to produce high-value labels with advanced finishing effects, meeting the growing demand for premium packaging in the region.

The installation also enables Hontec to further expand across the South American market.

The FlexiCon350 flexo press is designed for precision and efficiency, delivering stable, high-quality multi-color printing with register control. Its compact design and servo-driven system ensure consistent output across a wide range of label applications.

Complementing the press, the MPX350 finishing converter brings high flexibility through its modular configuration. The system installed at Fagra is equipped with a flatbed hot stamping system for premium embellishment, semi-rotary flexo unit for varnishing, a flatbed die-cutting for complex shapes and semi-rotary die-cutting for high-speed production.

This combination enables Fagra to perform multiple processes in a single pass, significantly improving productivity while reducing waste and setup time.
