Presstek: Strategy for growth in place

Presstek has a strategy to expand its presence in new regions, and develop solutions for different market segments such as packaging.
In a press conference on the opening day of Drupa 2012, Presstek chairman, president and chief executive officer Stan Freimuth (pictured, top) said the company is ‘poised for revenue growth’, and is targeting expanding its presence in markets beyond North America and Europe, which account for the bulk of its business. This primarily will focus on Far East markets, although a question from the floor saw the company state that it is looking to develop its presence in Pakistan.
It will also work to develop solutions for new market segments. It already has a heavy focus on packaging, and is using Drupa to showcase its 75DI platform.
