UK printer boosts finishing capabilities with BGM Multiflex

UK printer OPM Group, a producer of flexible packaging, laminates, sachets, film, flow wrap and labels for numerous market segments, has installed a second Elite Multiflex finishing machine from Bar Graphic Machinery (BGM) to enhance the quality of its printed products.
 
OPM serves well-known brands, blue chip companies and contract packers around the world involved in the fast-moving consumer goods, healthcare, food and beverage, automotive, household and personal care markets.
 
BGM said finishing is a long-standing issue for flexible packaging printers, but its Elite Multiflex is designed to aid finishing of multiple supported and unsupported substrates.
 
The installation of a second Elite Multiflex at West Yorkshire's OPM Group coincided with the addition of a further FA-4 series full servo Nilpeter press.

‘After demonstrations and attempts from other finishing machine manufacturers, our decision was easily made when we visited BGM and viewed a demonstration on their very latest Elite Multiflex; the machine was effortlessly demonstrated with several of our bespoke products, achieving outstanding profiles and speeds.’
