Label equipment supplier backs young talent in the South African wine industry.

Rotocon has sponsored the 2026 WineLand Media 30 Under 30 Awards for the seventh consecutive year, with the ceremony taking place at Bacco Estate in Paarl on June 5, 2026, recognizing emerging talent across viticulture, winemaking, marketing, hospitality, sales and wine tourism.

The event also saw the announcement of Rotocon's 2026 label design competition winner, Mpilo Mthembu, developed in partnership with Tshwane University of Technology, SA Litho Label Printers and Polyflex Premedia.

Tristan Maske, wine curator and founder of initiatives including The Wine Intern and Ex Animo Wine Co., received the 2026 Luminary Award, presented annually to an individual whose influence extends beyond their immediate role.

Michael Aengenvoort, CEO of Rotocon, delivered a keynote address at the ceremony.

'You are the generation standing between tradition and possibility, with the opportunity to leave things better than you found them,' said Aengenvoort. 'Congratulations on being here, and keep working hard to build something worth inheriting.'
