With this move, Innovia can manufacture and supply its Encore range using both ISCC Plus bio-circular and ISCC Plus circular materials.
Innovia Films has expanded its International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) Plus certification to its production facility in Zacapú, Mexico. This milestone strengthens Innovia’s ability to deliver certified sustainable films to customers worldwide.
The certification expansion underscores Innovia’s strategic commitment to sustainability, supporting customer demand for lower-carbon, circular materials while advancing the company’s role in the global circular economy.
'Expanding ISCC Plus certification to our Zacapú facility reflects both strong market demand and Innovia’s long-term sustainability strategy,' said Aaron Henneger, vice president and general manager, Innovia Films Americas. 'It allows us to further scale our Encore portfolio and provide customers with certified renewable and circular films, wherever they operate.'
With ISCC PLUS certification now available in Zacapú, Innovia can manufacture and supply its Encore range using both ISCC Plus bio-circular (certified renewable) and ISCC Plus circular (certified recycled) materials, reinforcing the company’s leadership in sustainable BOPP technologies.
ISCC is a globally recognized, independent certification system that supports the sustainable sourcing and traceability of raw materials across international supply chains.
