‘Experience has taught us the importance of having the right quality of representation in overseas markets, and with PorterPac we’re partnering with a company of engineers whose expert knowledge, technical expertise and innovative approach to solving complex machinery challenges matches our own,’ said Bill Rhodes, chairman of Bar Graphic Machinery.

In the last 35 years, PorterPac has earned an enviable reputation across Germany, Switzerland and Austria for servicing narrow web flexo converting and finishing equipment. The new partnership will be much in evidence very shortly when PorterPac opens a new demonstration facility at its newly refurbished German headquarters.

Jerry Porter, owner of PorterPac added: ‘For many years I have been hugely impressed with the quality of BGM’s operation, in its engineering design and manufacture, and also with the obvious regard in which BGM is held by customers large and small for the quality of its machines, service and support, when the opportunity arose it was definitely an opportunity not to be missed.’

BGM managing director Annemarie Rhodes concluded: ‘We were on the same wavelength from the very start. The people at Porterpac are as passionate as we are about the industry and have built their business, like ours, on long-term customer relationships based on proven performance and reliability and continuous solutions-based innovation.’
