Dr Jules Farkas passes away

Jules was known and loved by many friends in the industry worldwide.

After a long career in the US, China and Europe, he had become a major name as an OEM in Memjet technology with his company Own-X and, subsequently, RTI Digital.

At 74 years old, he was still traveling extensively, and was still actively involved in several print-related development projects when this tragic accident occurred.

Labels & Labeling strategic consultant Michael Fairley said: ‘Jules Farkas was undoubtedly a mover and shaker in the label industry over many years.’
