Flint Group Packaging Inks has announced that it has become a signatory of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact

Flint Group Packaging Inks has announced that it has become a signatory of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, effective May 2020.

The global initiative calls on companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption, and to enact actions that advance sustainable development goals.

‘We have a clear sustainability vision to support packaging markets with responsibly built products and sustainable solutions designed for circular economies,’ commented Thomas Gray, strategy and marketing director at Flint Group Packaging Inks. ‘To be a conscientious packaging inks and services provider means taking our sustainability commitments seriously.

‘By signing up to the UN Global Compact, we have adopted a clear framework of ten guiding principles along with a range of sustainable development goals to measure and monitor the performance of our business in this crucial area. We are extremely proud to add our name to the prestigious list of companies already involved.’

Flint Group Packaging Inks has also recently initiated a series of whitepapers addressing its sustainability strategy and activities.
