L&L China hosts virtual Label Academy Masterclass 2020

The masterclass was broadcast live in video conference format as a part of the Label Academy global training program for the label and package printing industry. It was organized jointly by the label printing branch of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC), SPPC and Labels & Labeling China.

This virtual seminar featured technical topics including materials, pre-press, digital printing technology, hybrid technology and an array of finishing technologies and machinery. The meeting was hosted by six industry experts: Andy Ge, associate professor of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College (SPPC); Sheldon Wang, China district customer manager at HP; Joe Jiao, digital flexo expert at Esko; Sunny Qi, China product manager at Avery Dennison; Jimmy Zhan, China digital sales director at Domino; and Ramon Li, general manager at Brotech.

Following the successful masterclass and great interest in the subject, the Label Academy book ‘Digital Label and Package Printing’ is now being translated into Chinese and will be available for purchase by the end of July, 2020.
