Rosas Maschinenbau offers a wide range of customized high-performance tabletop rewinder and inspection machines, starting from Cheetah 500 tabletop rewinder to Hippo directional rewinder for printing Braille codes on labels and booklets.

Under the agreement, all Rosas Maschinenbau machines and equipment will be available through Rotocon’s headquarters in Cape Town and branch offices in Johannesburg and Durban.

‘The product offering from Rosas Maschinenbau is complementary to our other slitting, rewinding, and inspection machines we represent,’ said Michael Aengenvoort, Rotocon’s director and co-owner. ‘Its range of economically viable solutions are customizable, adapting to a printer’s unique specifications. Quality, productivity, and sustainability is its philosophy behind each machine it designs and builds.”

Rotocon has placed the first order for a Cheetah 500 tabletop rewinder, featuring two servo motors, splice table, idler roller, inside/outside wrap rewinding, web and winding tension control, integrated job memory, and operates at speed up to 1,600 ft/min (depending on substrate).
