Screen Europe has appointed Mario Offermann as service manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

‘Screen always strives for customer service of the highest standards. The expansion of our excellent support team reflects the exponential growth Screen Europe has experienced in the German-speaking market and elsewhere in Europe in the past few years,’ said Steve Low, vice president, service and support at Screen Europe. ‘With his excellent expertise and experience, Mario will be invaluable to our customers and us.’

The German speaking DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is one of Screen Europe’s most important, with a strong market for the Truepress Jet520HD and the Truepress Jet L350UV series inkjet label presses. Screen expects further growth here and in other European markets as the shift to inkjet printing continues to drive demand for its top-of-the-range inkjet systems.

Before joining Screen, Offermann worked as an inkjet specialist at Agfa and as color management and proofing expert at Koller AG in Switzerland. He will operate from Screen’s hub in Germany from where he will also support other markets, including the Benelux.

Screen has also announced the appointment of Tony Gill as regional service manager, who will take responsibility for customer support and service in the UK, Ireland, MEA, Spain, Portugal and France. He will look after a wide range of services, from installation and training, hardware and software upgrades to preventative maintenance.

Tony Gill has decades of experience in printing technology. He joined Screen 20 years ago and, before being appointed in the new role worked as application team leader for Europe.

‘Tony brings a unique combination of deep knowledge of our inkjet technology and excellent understanding of our customers’ requirements,’ added Steve Low. ‘He will have a crucial role in accommodating Screen’s growth, providing support and service to customers across Europe.’
