Soma signs distribution agreement in Asia

DKSH and Soma have signed an exclusive distribution agreement covering its full range of products for Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and India.

DKSH will provide sales, marketing, application engineering and after-sales services for Soma in these countries.

Soma’s portfolio includes flexographic printing presses, slitter rewinders, laminators, plate mounters and die cutters. Its technology finds application in flexible packaging for food, non-food, labels, shrink sleeves, paper and paper board and aluminum closures.

DKSH will introduce Soma’s technology to industries such as in-house flexible packaging production, plastics film producers, printers and converters. The company has been a partner with Soma in Japan since 2017.
