Chemsultants achieves double ISO certification

Chemsultants International has achieved certification to both the ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 standards.

ISO 13485:2003 is a quality management standard for medical devices and related services, while ISO 9001:2008 relates to quality management systems

Chemsultants said the certifications enable it to move forward into niche contract manufacturing for medical device and specialty industrial applications. The double certification complements the company’s precision cleanroom that was added in 2012.

Gary Avalon, chief operating officer at Chemsultants International, said: ‘This assures medical and specialty industrial end users that they have a single entity for their product development, scale up and manufacturing needs.’
