Flint to revisit history of narrow web printing

Flint Group will offer visitors to its stand at Labelexpo Americas 2012 a look back over its history as part of a series of events designed to educate, inspire and “celebrate the innovative side of narrow web printing”. 
 
The Flint Group stand at booth 840 will show milestone developments in narrow web over the past 50 years, and present what the future holds.
 
The Flint Group booth at Labelexpo Americas 2012 will also feature the speakers’ corner, where Flint Group experts will provide insight about current and key industry topics: food packaging and labeling, nyloflex NExT and UV LED printing.
 
In addition, visitors to its stand can win cash prizes by playing bingo. A US$500 prize is up for grabs for those visiting key suppliers to learn about the ecological and economical aspects of UV LED ink technology and sustainable products for the narrow web market, collecting letters in the process.
 
And Flint Group will host the 8th Annual Narrow Web Print Awards, where label converters from around the world have submitted sample labels for evaluation by a panel of industry judges.
 
Engaging customers
Jennifer Joyce, Flint Group global product director, added: ‘We are excited to present our range of new products and engage in customer discussions.
 
‘From these conversations, we learn about printers’ various requirements and provide our expert advice to them; we get a better understanding of their needs and challenges, resulting in new and more versatile product solutions.’

‘In co-operation with other suppliers and clients, we have developed a set of labels, each representing a specific era of our milestone developments.’
