AB Graphic and CV labels

A B Graphic International is marking a significant milestone in its long-standing relationship with CV Labels, the family-owned and independently run label printing specialist based in Scotland.

The partnership began in 1989 when ABG supplied CV Labels with its first finishing machine. Since then, the company has continued to grow from strength to strength, consistently reinvesting in technology with ABG as its chosen partner. To date, CV Labels has installed nine ABG machines, emphasizing the trust and continuity that have defined the collaboration for more than three decades.

The latest additions include two slitter rewinders fitted with Fleyevision camera inspection and REA JET inkjet print systems; the first was installed three years ago. The most recent was commissioned in July 2025.

These advanced systems play a crucial role in CV Labels' commitment to quality and efficiency, particularly in the pharmaceutical labeling sector, where accuracy and full traceability are paramount.

This most recent investment also aligns with a generational shift within the business.

Founder Bob Veitch is passing on leadership to the next generation, his daughter Susan and son Ross, who will uphold the company’s values of innovation, reliability and dedicated customer service.

Susan Veitch said: 'We’ve always trusted ABG to deliver robust, efficient and future-ready machinery that aligns with the demands of our business.

'Their support over the years has been invaluable and we look forward to building on this partnership as we enter a new chapter.'

ABG sales manager, Mark Hyde, added: 'CV Labels has been with us since the early days and it has been a privilege to see their progress. The handover to the second generation, alongside continued investment in ABG technology, reflects their clear vision and values.'

As both companies look ahead, the partnership continues to demonstrate the value of combining technological innovation with long-term collaboration and shared ambition.
