Label World acquires Lemorau ICR3 450

Jordanian converter Label World invests in ICR3 450 slitter rewinder from Lemorau portfolio

Jordanian converter Label World invests in ICR3 450 slitter rewinder from Lemorau portfolio to increase its production speed and overall accuracy with the optional inspection system.

Established in Amman in 2004, Label World is one of the leading labeling companies in the Middle Eastern region that produces self-adhesive labels and aluminum foil for the pharmaceutical industry.

To increase its productivity and accuracy Label World purchased a Lemorau ICR3 slitter rewinder machine in bespoke 450mm web width and an optional 100 percent inspection system.

‘When Label World started using the new Lemorau ICR3, the output became more accurate, the production speed doubled and the volume of new orders significantly increased,’ said Aziza Haithan, the CEO of Label World.

The Lemorau ICR 3 inspection and slitter rewinder features a maximum speed 200m/min (656 ft/min), an electronic web guide system with ultrasonic sensor which enables guiding of opaque and clear materials, and two adjustable splice tables with pneumatic clamps. This machine also features an automatic web tension control system by servo motors, air trim removal, flag detection sensor and six sets of circular knives with lateral adjustment among other features.

Converters can also choose from a wide range of optional equipment such as clear on clear sensor, razor slitting knives, rewinder unit for defects, waste rewinder unit from unwinder, extra space for inkjet variable data and 200 percent video inspection unit.
