OPM Group invests in seventh BGM machine

The OPM Group specializes in short run flexible packaging as well as self-adhesive labels serving global brands across several market segments, including home, personal care, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, automotive, horticulture and pet and veterinary care.

The Elite Multiflex installed at OPM Group is the second generation of this machine capable of finishing a wide variety of supported and unsupported films, plastics, foils, papers, self-adhesive papers and light carton substrates.

The machine is fitted with a one meter capacity unwind, it is entirely servo-controlled and has a 100 percent roll scheduling inspection module with slow-down festoon, precise error placement and waste rewind take-up unit. It is also fitted with the latest automated slitting technology, with automated web slitting scanning function, job barcode scanning facility, duplex rewinds with BGM’s intelligent taper tension control. The modular design can be reconfigured for a variety of specialist finishing applications such as booklets, ticket and tags, wrap and color chip labels.
