Prepack has acquired an Offset CI8 printing press and an ML1 MC laminator

Prepack Thailand was established in 1973 after adopting the flexible packaging manufacturing technology from Prepac France. Presently, the company is recognized as one of the top flexible packaging manufacturers in Thailand. The company supplies diverse industries, including food, snacks, personal care and hygiene, chemical and industrial, and various other consumer areas.

The Comexi Offset CI8 press combines the advantages of offset variable size printing with central drum technology. This two-fold environmentally responsible option operates without solvents and frontal printing, with EB protective varnishes, allowing for the replacement of laminated products or reducing the number of layers due to the capabilities of chemical, thermal, and scratch-resistance of EB lacquers.

The Comexi ML1 MC is designed for the highest demands, has not only high-performance turrets and efficient modular drying units but also delivers outstanding results with its unique, intuitive user interface, making it considerably easier for operators to use.

‘We are very satisfied with this agreement. Prepack is a solid company and has an exceedingly serious market proposal,’ commented Alexander Astudillo, Comexi area manager for this region. ‘Prepack Thailand consistently explores new options to develop the best packaging solutions for today and tomorrow to offer the market.’
