Raining Labels is a family-run label manufacturer based in Ravenna, Italy. It invested in the Starplus unit in 2013 following 25 percent growth that led it to need to upgrade the productivity of its five production lines, which feature Prati Vega FN330 and Vegaplus 330 machines.

Rudi Tassinari, production manager at Raining Labels, said: ‘Because Prati machines are very productive and versatile, they are giving us a hand with our business and make it easier for us to prepare different orders.

‘Speedy size changeover enables us to switch from one size and inner core to another in about 15 minutes. This way customer delivery deadlines are reduced to the utmost.’

Tassinari added: ‘Our most recent purchase has produced an increase in productivity of around 20-22 percent with a maximum hourly production that has risen from 7,000 linear meters to 9,000 linear meters.’
