Repacorp selects Mark Andy Performance Series P7 for latest flexo press investment

Repacorp, a manufacturer of custom, stock, promotional and RFID-enabled pressure-sensitive labels and non-pressure-sensitive tags, has selected a Mark Andy Performance Series P7 for its latest flexo press investment at its Ohio production facility.

Mark Andy P7 was installed during the first quarter of 2015 and is running production across two shifts, five days a week

The 8-color, 13in-wide Performance Series P7 chosen by Repacorp features independent web pacing for web tension management, while the simple print station design helps ensure consistency and accuracy. Combined, this results in excellent print precision, Mark Andy said, and supports Repacorp’s mission to make quality the focal point of its business.

The press was installed during the first quarter of 2015 and is running production across two shifts, five days a week.

Reapcorp president Tony Heinl said: ‘[We] invest in the latest label technology to help keep our distributors competitive. We were looking for a flexographic press that would provide higher print quality, but also reduce waste. We found that in the Mark Andy P7.

‘The Performance Series’ auto registration eliminated a lot of our setup time and material waste that comes with color registration.

‘Our customers are demanding higher quality, lower cost and friendlier environmental operations. The Mark Andy P7 gives us that quality while the fast set-ups and minimal waste allow us to be more productive, competitive and earth friendly.’
