The new HP Indigo 20000 is the first to be installed in Romania and joins a fleet of four other HP presses operating at the Romprix’s production facility in Pantelimon near Bucharest.

‘Romprix keeps its promise to invest in technology to produce with innovative, state-of-the-art equipment. We were the first in Romania to put an HP Indigo digital press for label production in 2011 and have since added three HP presses to our printing fleet,’ said Cristian Dobrotă, CEO at Romprix. ‘As we continue to expand our services and deliver to the needs of the market, we’re pleased to install our first HP Indigo 20000 for the production of flexible packaging, labels and sleeves. With the global packaging market constantly growing, we look forward to explore new possibilities with HP Indigo technologies.’

Romprix saw the new HP Indigo 20000 digital press’s integrated ecosystem as the perfect answer to the current market demand for shorter runs, improving brand loyalty and increasing sales through customization and personalization campaigns for flexible packaging, varied SKU’s and seasonal campaigns.

In addition to its performance, HP Indigo technology will also contribute to reduced production waste compared to the conventional flexographic process and will bring energy efficiency perfectly fitting into Romprix’s sustainability objectives.

Romprix also uses HP PrintOS to access important information and ensure real-time press performance and PrintOS Composer for heavy VDP processing.
