Based in Mazzo di Rho near Milan, Screen is one of the pioneers in adopting new technology for printing packaging and labels. Established in 1987, the company started in photolithography and, in 2015, installed Italy’s first Screen Truepress Jet L350UV digital label press.

‘Because the world is constantly evolving and we want to evolve and grow with it,’ said Andrea Rossetti of Screen. ‘Our mission is to become an increasingly green and self-sufficient company, thus eliminating waste and reducing the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

‘The new Cartes digital finishing machine is our flagship and allows us to create even more personalized and unique labels, digitally finishing with excellent foil details without additional equipment. It is also increasing the thickness of the embossing, inserting opaque or glossy elements and, thanks to the laser die-cutting unit, it enables shaping the label and creating ad hoc patterns, all sent directly from a PDF file.

‘The innovative and unique laser die-cutting technology gives life to shapes and contours without complexity limits and the use of classic aluminum plates used too often and never disposed of through recycling.’
