Shelton Turnbull was established in 1924 and currently operates as a 100 percent employee-owned company out of a 67,000 sq ft facility in Eugene, Oregon. Its various capabilities include sheet-fed offset, flexographic label printing, variable and digital printing, mailing services and inventory management/fulfillment.

The Rotary Pro is a fully featured digital label and tag production system offering in-line printing, laminating, varnishing, rotary die cutting, slitting and rewinding. Using Memjet technology, the press prints at 1,600 x 1,200dpi resolution at print speeds of 160ft/min (49m/min.)

The press will be installed this month to complement its existing flexographic presses.

Barry Miller, president of Shelton Turnbull, said: ‘We needed quicker turn-around and lower costs for short runs.

‘Colordyne was unquestionably the best option for us as it both lowered cost while providing quality enhancements.'

Miller added:’ ‘The CDT 1600-PC Rotary Pro convinced us by its performance, its high resolution and its excellent color capabilities that it was the option for us, allowing us to handle even the most demanding jobs.’

Colordyne Technologies is to be part of a supplier exhibition being held alongside the conference program of the two-day Packprint Summit Americas 2013 event, taking place on November 5-6 in Miami, Florida.
