Spartanics installs Smag E-Cut in Illinois

Spartanics has installed a Smag E-Cut semi-rotary die-cutting system at its demo facility in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, the first permanent demo facility for the system in North America.

Spartanics and Smag have partnered to combine their core technologies to further enhance label production. The Smag E-Cut is now available with Spartanics X-350 units.

‘Having the standard E-Cut available for demonstrations in our headquarters is part of a long term plan to bring flexible finishing solutions to the North American market,’ said Mike Bacon, vice president of sales and marketing at Spartanics.

‘Smag Graphique is a well-known supplier of conventional finishing equipment in Europe, and worldwide, and we are excited to share this technology with our customers and partners here in the United States and Canada.’
