Tesa invests in Nanovis parts washer
Germany’s Tesa Converting has installed a Nanocleaner NWC-1200 parts washer from Swiss manufacturer Nanovis as it looks to enhance the environmental credentials of its production.
Tesa Converting manufactures self-adhesive products and labels. The NWC-1200 is an award-winning, solvent-free parts washer.
It will be operated around the clock for cleaning of ink pans, doctor blades and similar equipment and without leaving any harmful solvent vapours nor liquid waste. Since no hazardous substances are used anymore, Tesa Converting is also able to de-classify the cleaning the rooms and release them for a wider use.
Nanovis said Tesa Converting chose to invest in its technology after ‘rigorous’ testing against conventional cleaning systems.
