Bellissima DMS comes to Spain via Flexographic Solutions

Hamillroad Software’s Bellissima digital modulated screening (DMS) technology for flexographic screening is said to deliver a ‘previously unobtainable level of image reproduction for flexo’. It is claimed to rival the quality of print typically associated with offset and gravure, and is ‘challenging digital as the future for flexible packaging and labels’. Apex and Hamillroad formed a strategic partnership to bring Bellissima DMS to market, resulting in the creation of Aniken Graphics.

Phase one sales of Bellissima DMS includes trade shops, converters and flexographic printers currently using Apex GTT anilox rolls and sleeves together with MacDermid Graphics Solutions’ Lux ITP 60 or DuPont’s EFX plates.

Confirmed trade shops in the phase one roll-out of Bellissima DMS include Chespa in Austria and Poland, Volkers in the Netherlands, Athena Graphics in Belgium and France, Carl Ostermann Erben in Germany and Cyber Graphics in the US.

We have approved FGS as part of the phase one roll-out to supply approved flexo plates, screened with Bellissima DMS, to brands and printers in Spain.’

FGS was established more than 20 years ago to focus on supplying pre-press services to the printers of the packaging market.
