Labeltech Open House to demonstrate Colordyne presses in Europe

Labeltech is to showcase its recent investment in Colordyne Technologies (CDT) digital printing technology at an Open House at its premises in IJsselstein, near Utrecht, The Netherlands, on May 14-15.

In partnership with CDT, LasX Industries and Delphax Technologies, Labeltech will showcase its two recently purchased CDT Production Class digital label printing presses, a CDT 1600-PC Sprint and a CDT 1600-PC Laser Pro.

Label manufacturers will have the opportunity to review both the speed and high resolution printing of the CDT 1600-PC Sprint, and the in-line laser cutting and finishing abilities of the CDT 1600-PC Laser Pro. Both of the CDT Production Class units installed at Labeltech are the first to be installed in Europe following several successful installations in the US.

The CDT print engine, supplementing both these units, prints full process CMYK at 160ft/min (49m/min) at 1600 x 1,200 dpi resolution.

The Open House agenda will also include a question and answer session with the technical teams, and the opportunity to meet the presidents and owners of Labeltech, CDT, LasX Industries and Delphax Technologies.
