Max Daetwyler Corporation, worldwide manufacturer of doctor blades and precision equipment for the printing industry, has announced that Travis Anderson, from North Iredell High School, Shawn Tiikkala from South Iredell High School and Karl Golinski from Independence High School are the newest members of the Apprenticeship 2000 program.

The Apprenticeship 2000 program is a challenging ‘learn while you earn’ training program, which results in students earning their associates degree while being paid to attend school and receiving hands-on work experience in several specialized programs. The apprentices are scheduled to complete the four-year program with an Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology from Central Piedmont Community College, plus the Journeyman Machinists Recognition from NC Department of Labor.
