Michelman to launch DigiPrime Vision 9200 at Loupe
The new HP Indigo primer and bio-based barrier coatings will be on show in Chicago.
Michelman has confirmed it will present its DigiPrime portfolio of print-receptive primers and two new bio-based barrier coatings at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, and will also deliver a Spotlight Stage presentation on sustainable digital printing on September 16 at 2pm.
The centerpiece of the booth is DigiPrime Vision 9200, a new in-line primer for HP Indigo 6K+ and 8K digital presses delivering increased water and chemical resistance and enhanced media gamut and maintenance performance. The full DigiPrime portfolio covering HP Indigo press applications will also be on display.
Two new Nuvita Life bio-based, plastic-free barrier coatings will also feature: Nuvita Life 4002, a heat seal coating, and Nuvita Life 4605, a topcoat, both designed for retail food packaging and aligned with California SB 54, the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive and PPWR requirements. Michelman will also display prototype digitally printed flexible packaging structures targeting recyclability and compostability for dry food applications.
Jan Denies, global account manager for digital printing at Michelman, will present ‘Unleashing the Full Potential of Digital Print’ on the Spotlight Stage on September 16 at 2pm, covering aqueous coatings that enable the shift to paper and mono-material film structures.
'Digital printing continues to open new avenues for converters to produce more sustainable labels and packaging without sacrificing performance,' said Denies.
