Terinex has acquired high-quality, food and pharmaceutical flexible packaging manufacturer QC Packaging

Experts in design, print and application, QC focuses on providing high levels of customer service combined with a highly flexible printing capability enabling it to offer short lead times and short print runs where required.

To boost this new venture, Terinex is investing heavily in a new, state-of-the-art, 8-colour, HD Comexi printing press along with a solventless laminator and a high-speed slitter to produce premium packaging material  at very competitive prices.

The companies’ combined strength now offers tailored, high-quality printing to customers who demand the best in food and pharmaceutical packaging across a range of different types of film including PET and BOPP.

‘This acquisition was made on the basis of combining the strength and expertise of QC’s management and staff with the support, investment and backup available from Terinex to exploit the growing flexible printed packaging market,’ said Paul Wightman, group managing director of OGM Holdings, the parent company of the Terinex brand.
