Tyler launches My Pouch

Online store lets small brands order custom pouches from 500 units.

UK flexible packaging manufacturer Tyler Packaging has launched My Pouch by Tyler, a digital packaging website that lets start-ups and small businesses design and order custom printed pouches from 500 units, with dispatch 10 to 15 working days after artwork approval.

Customers select a product, build the pouch in an online configurator and upload their artwork, and the printed pouches are then produced and delivered. Tyler says the process involves no lengthy back-and-forth, no complicated quoting and no hidden setup charges.

My Pouch products are printed digitally only, so buyers avoid the costs of plates, cylinders and setup ahead of production. Tyler says traditional packaging often means ordering thousands of pouches upfront, paying origination costs and waiting weeks for delivery, which ties up cash and storage space and leaves businesses exposed if a recipe, design or regulation changes. Brands can instead order only what they need and reorder online.

Variable data printing lets brands print multiple designs, flavors or variations within a single order, and personalize individual pouches with unique names, codes or messages. Tyler says this supports limited editions, seasonal ranges, promotions and personalized gifting at no extra setup cost. The company developed the website after seeing growing demand from start-ups and smaller brands whose volumes did not suit traditional production.

'Great products deserve great packaging, whatever the order size. We wanted to make custom packaging as easy as it should be. My Pouch's simplified three-step process means less money tied up in stock and more freedom to grow at their own pace, reordering whenever they're ready. Features like variable data printing also give smaller brands the same creative options as the bigger players too. It's ABC, easy as 1, 2, 3, and we can't wait to see what brands create with it,' said Adam Kay, director at Tyler Packaging.
