Ashe Converting to launch Opal ‘ISR’ series finishing system

Ashe Converting Equipment will launch its new Opal ‘ISR’ series with 100 percent visual camera inspection system at Labelexpo Europe

Ashe Converting Equipment will launch its new Opal ‘ISR’ series with 100 percent visual camera inspection system at Labelexpo Europe 2019 on stand 4B51.

The machine has a 440mm width and will include Ashe’s own 100 percent camera inspection system with a fully integrated web path to stop any pre-determined fault, on a splicing table prior to slitting and going onto the rewinds. The system is built in a fully modular format and can be configured according to the customer’s requirements.

A new two spindle semi-automatic turret rewinder will also be demonstrated in-line with a full rotary converting line. The new semi-automatic machine can also be utilized as a duplex machine.

Ashe’s off-line glueless turret rewinders will also be running during the show and will be equipped with its new fully automatic core loading system. 

The company’s Solitaire mid web filmic slitter rewinder at 800mm wide will be running a pearlized OPP wraparound label. This machine will be equipped with Ashe’s own differential rewind shafts, which are essential for running filmic applications, along with its vacuum roller system, which is required for flexible packaging type applications.

Also on display will be a new fully automatic core cutting machine.
