Avery introduces Shrink PS

Avery Dennison has launched its Shrink PS, a ‘brand-enhancing’ pressure sensitive labeling option for meat packaging applications. It is designed to withstand the vacuum-shrink process without wrinkling to give greater shelf appeal and production-related benefits.

The patent-pending product is applied to vacuum shrink bags prior to filling, sealing and shrinking. Compared with direct-printed shrink bags, Shrink PS is said to offer enhanced packaging flexibility, brand differentiation, and enable manufacturers to reduce or eliminate multiple sets of pre-printed shrink bag inventory. It decreases obsolescence and overall costs while providing speedy decoration for seasonal and short-run opportunities.
